Anine Mittens ENGLISH

Beskrivelse
Size:
Onesize
Note:
When the mittens are felted, they can be shaped by stretching and will therefore fit most (women’s) hands. The finished mittens measure (depending on how much they are felted and how they are shaped) approx. 18–24 cm in length and 18–22 cm in circumference.
Materials:
100-150 g Fritidsgarn from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 70 m)
Optional: carded wool, felting needle, and felting mat, if you want to needle felt a motif onto the mittens.
Note on yarn amount: It is important to maintain the stated gauge in order to rely on the yarn quantity. If you unravel the swatch, there is exactly enough yarn to knit one pair of mittens from 100 g of Fritidsgarn.
The Anine Mittens can also be knitted in other yarns, as long as the gauge can be met. Just make sure that the yarn is 100% untreated wool, so that it can be felted.
Gauge BEFORE felting:
16 sts = 10 cm
Recommended needles:
Double pointed 5 mm or a long circular needle 5 mm (e.g. 80 or 100 cm)
Techniques used in the pattern
